Xeikon at Drupa introduced several innovations. Firstly it was Xeikon Color Control - the next level of optimization of colors. It is a new large-capacity tool that allows operators to Xeikon’s machines repeatability of colors, as well as the best simulation of spot colors for labels and packaging applications using "cloud services," where adjustments to the personal computer is not necessary and it works on the basis of the application. In this way the user of Xeikon machine does not need to invest in additional equipment and he has always available the latest version of technology.
Xeikon Color Control allows printers to differentiate their Xeikon machine and create a table of colors for specific colors. Measured values are recorded in a central server, where it creates a new profile along with a library of these colors.
All this is installed on the Xeikon X-800 Digital Front-End device, where they can be used in all subsequent operations. varnishing
The users of series 3000 machine for packaging printing long time
were looking for solution of coating materials in certain places (partial varnishing). Specifically,
